You need argon test gas (Ar) or calibration gas – for example, for use in mass spectrometric measurements, gas analyzers, material testing, or calibration of measuring devices. For this, you require argon both in a specific test gas concentration and in the cylinder size that suits your application. Of course, in addition to attractive price conditions, you especially value absolutely impeccable test gas quality.
All this awaits you here in the All-in-Gas online shop! Order your argon test gas online in exactly the concentration you need for your application. By default, we supply argon in a 1.5% concentration, balance synthetic air, or as pure gas in 99.995%. However, if you need a different gas concentration, please feel free to share your desired mixture with us – usually, this is also readily available. What cylinder size do you need? At All-in-Gas.com, you can get argon in the 12 l, 34 l, 60 l, or 112 l ALLCAN gas cylinder, and the corresponding test gas pressure regulators for argon or withdrawal regulators are also available in our range. Order your argon test gas as a disposable cylinder online today!
The noble gas argon lives up to its name, which comes from the ancient Greek and means "the inert element." Like all other noble gases, argon is inert, which is why it is used in corresponding areas where this property is required – for example, as an inert gas in welding and in automatic fire extinguishing systems, as a protective gas in electrical engineering, in argon lasers in ophthalmology, or as a filling gas in incandescent lamps, insulating glass panes, and dry diving suits. But argon is also used as a test or calibration gas. In our atmosphere, the noble gas is present at nearly a one percent share, placing it third after nitrogen and oxygen. Argon is mainly obtained from the air, namely by fractional distillation of liquid air. Additionally, the gas is a byproduct in the synthesis of ammonia.
