Three-gas mixtures

Product information "Three-gas mixtures"

Calibrate Three Sensors Simultaneously and Minimize Setup Times

You are knee-deep in preparing for the day’s work, deadlines are tight, and the clock is ticking. Meanwhile, the next time-waster is already waiting in the workshop: before entering a shaft or servicing a heating system, occupational safety regulations require the mandatory bump test of your gas detectors. Starting up, waiting for, and readjusting each channel one after the other costs valuable working time.

It doesn't have to be that way. While your mind is already with the customer or at the measuring site, you connect a single gas mixture. The time-consuming individual calibration is completely eliminated. You calibrate your three sensors in a single operation. The target gases hit the sensor system simultaneously, and the values stabilize on the display within seconds. Right after, your devices securely document the electronic test log to comply with safety regulations.

Every cylinder leaves the factory freshly filled. A filling certificate accompanies every delivery to ensure your calibration succeeds on the first attempt.

Safety check for trade and wastewater technology: for classic heating maintenance (Ex/Ox/CO) or pure wastewater applications in shafts (Ex/Ox/H2S), you don't need a standard four-gas mixture. Our three-gas combinations are precisely tailored to your three-channel devices and target the exact hazard spectrum of your specific trade.

For the journey to the deployment site, you load the compact aluminum cylinder into the service vehicle. Depending on your testing volume, you can choose from our ALLCAN cylinder sizes of 12, 34, 60, or 112 liters. While the handy 12-liter cylinder fits right into a tool bag, even the larger capacities weigh only between one and two kilograms. The cylinder brings the gas mixture directly and portably to your measuring site.

As soon as the cylinder is empty, you completely depressurize the container via the valve using our complimentary VentCaps. Afterward, you return the cylinder to us free of hazardous goods surcharges. Together with our partner WERKVOLL, we take care of professional recycling: high-quality home accessories are created from the recycled aluminum.

Control the Gas Flow Directly at the Measuring Site with the Right System Components

Your three-gas mixture only delivers accurate measurements if the connection is reliable. You attach the demand regulator to the cylinder valve in just a few simple steps. The gas-tight Viton hose guides the calibration gas to the sensors.

On the way to a job, tools in the cargo area can easily get tossed around. For the drive, it is best to pack the entire test kit into the impact-resistant system case. Directly on-site, the robust carrying bag protects the pressure vessel from dirt and hard impacts. After clocking off, the cylinder stores within arm's reach in the steel wall bracket in your supply room.

How do I find the correct concentration level for my device?

You can find the correct concentration level in the user manual or maintenance instructions for your gas detector. These documents usually specify the exact calibration value to use.

AIG-105
AIG-105
Type of connector: TYP A (für 12 l ALLCAN)

  1. Type B
  2. Type A
  3. Brass
  4. New

The AIG-105 sampling regulator or pressure reducer is optimally designed for our test gas cylinders and is freely adjustable, allowing you to variably adjust the flow rate of your test gas – from 0.5 l/min to 1.5 l/min, just as you need it. The AIG-105 is available in two versions: Type A and Type B. Type A has a 1/6-inch thread and fits our 12 l ALLCAN test gas cylinders. Type B, with its 1/4-inch thread, is suitable for the other test gas cylinder sizes of 34 l, 60 l, and 112 l. In addition to a pressure gauge, the test gas sampling regulator features an acrylic flow meter that allows you to monitor the flow. Both sampling regulator types are made of brass and are suitable for non-reactive gases. The AIG-105 can also be used with hydrogen sulfide or sulfur dioxide test gas.

However, if you require a pressure regulator that will be used in contact with reactive or corrosive gases such as nitrogen dioxide (NO2), hydrogen chloride (HCL), ammonia (NH3), phosphine (PH3), silane (SiH4), or hydrogen cyanide (HCN), we recommend a stainless steel one, such as the AIG-100 with a fixed flow rate or the AIG-104, which can be adjusted in 0.5-liter increments.
